A Wonderful Dining Experience at Don Beppe Ristorante Italiano

Boun Appetito!!! is the Italian counterpart of saying "Bon Appetit" or "enjoy your meal" and we did. Don Beppe Ristorante Italiano has been here quite a while at "The Peak" a rooftop food haven of Gaisano Mall Davao. This is one place where one can relax & dine after a tiring day of shopping, watching movie or just walking around to cool yourself from the hot tropical climate outside.

Don Beppe Ristorante Italiano have a delightful ambiance.  The restaurant is not big, but having a clear glass walls allows natural illuminations and being located at the top most area at The Peak made this Italian restaurant look spacious and pleasant. Limited as it may be in size, yet it has enough tables for a crowd that desire to have a wonderful and cozy lunch or dinner. Ordinarily people like us will have second thoughts to come in because of the fine dining look of the restaurant.  But all apprehensions will disappear once the service crew sits you. The crew are friendly and attentive to customers needs. And best of all, when around, owner Don Beppe go to the tables to personally greet his customers.  He even graced our request to have photo taken with him.

The nice waitress went to our table and gave us the menu.  We seem to not know what to order so she asked what we like, pasta, pizza or something with rice? I said I like to try their pasta, missed calzone so I love to have one too and also I desire to eat something with rice.  These were what we had =)

Overall experience was wonderful,  the food is delicious,   I may say perfectly done.  The serving is generous and the price is reasonable.   For  Italian food lover, this place is a must visit.

After lunch, all I can say is "hmmmmm molto delizioso!!!"

  11. Yeah, I love the complimentary breadsticks at DonBeppe! I can almost slurp the tomato dip, if I don't have to share - and the waitresses can be persuaded for a small refill, if you ask nicely!

Yup, Don Beppe Pizza rocks. Thin crust, the right amount of crackle, not too greasy/oily like some of the fast food joints we used to patronize.

  12. Don Beppe Ristorante is one of my favorite restaurants! masarap yung Risotto - very creamy and tasty - specially the mushroom or the seafood versions.

    I haven't tasted the calzone - that's a mouth-watering picture! is it good?

I think it is time to carbo-load again!
